What are the specific instructions we can provide?

Collect the sample first thing in the morning at 8 AM.  Collect at least 3 milliliters of saliva and do not cough or clear your throat into collection tube.  If you are on hormone or supplement therapy, such as pregnenolone, progesterone, cortisol, DHEA, androstenedione, androstenediol, testosterone, estrone, estriol, or estradiol, discontinue hormone supplements for at least one month before testing to accurately measure the hormone levels. 

What are considered the normal range of hormones?

Testosterone: 100-370 pmol/L

Cortisol: 5-33 nmol/L

DHEA: 0.6-4.5 nmol/L
